Summer Cookout 2012!


Calling ALL schools!!!! Everett, Sexton, Eastern, Holt, Waverly, East Lansing, Okemos Come celebrate the last day of school with an all out water ballon fight with FREE FOOD, basketball, flag football, and other game yall feel like playing!! 

Most Importantly this event will give information about many Lansing organizations and events for the summer. You will get information on Internships, jobs, and fun projects for summer! Different tables will be set up throughout the cookout! So please come join us!

:Mission Statement:

Power of 9 is a Lansing Organization for Youth by Youth. Students involved in Power of 9 develop community-based project and events geared toward Lansing Teens.


Its designed to help develop a students’ character through community involvement, volunteerism, new-experiences and self-produced projects. Student spend time planning for 9 community events that encompass the goals of educating, empowering, and entertaining Lansing area youth. The events utilize entertainment as a platform for message delivery and advocacy to promote positive outcomes for our youth such as: peace, diversity, inclusion, healthy lifestyles, dropout prevention, preparation for higher education, and entrepreneurship.
